The government is currently discussing a number of regulations and incentives related to the development of the National Capital City (IKN).
Minister of National Development Planning (PPN) Suharso Monoarfa revealed that his party is preparing a number of rules and incentives for IKN investors.
One of them is a summary of the substance of the arrangement of the Draft Government Regulation related to the granting of business licenses, business facilities, and special financing facilities in the Indonesian Capital City.
“First, the government provides business permits, ease of doing business, and investment facilities including the implementation of business activities in IKN and partner areas,” Suharso wrote on Instagram @suharsomonoarfa, quoted Monday (19/9/2022).
Second, the process of granting business permits at IKN is carried out through the OSS system with special features regarding IKN. Third, continued Suharso, the IKN authority can transfer, use, and/or dispose of assets on the part of the land with management rights to business actors in accordance with the agreement.
Fourth, Suharso said that the Hak Guna Usaha (HGU) was granted for a maximum period of 95 years.
“The use of Building Use Rights (HGB) can be extended in accordance with the agreement between the IKN Authority and business actors,” said Suharso.
Finally, he revealed that the HGB is granted for a maximum period of 80 years, the use of the HGB can be extended in accordance with the agreement between the IKN Authority and business actors.
In the RPP for ease of doing business, according to Suharso, it is also stated that business actors conducting business activities in IKN are given investment facilities in the form of corporate income tax for domestic corporate taxpayers, value added tax and or sales tax on luxury goods, customs and or excise.
